It’s easy to get distracted during Savasana (or ‘corpse pose’) at the end of each yoga class. It’s tough for some people, including myself, to lay there for 5 minutes without any music. There are a lot of opinions about whether or not your Savasana song should include words or be more meditative. All I know for sure is that variety is great, and works for me personally, to connect with my true self and simply surrender. These songs are in no particular order, except for the first one. OM Sanctuary is by far, first and foremost, my favorite song for the most relaxing and meditative Savasana – it’s also the one that my mentor Mia Togo uses at the end of her flow classes. The track is over an hour long, so it’s actually perfect for your meditation practice as well. Enjoy!
